The traditional type of vessel Peace in the port at the lower Warnow in Rostock in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on the territory of the former GDR, German Democratic Republic. 1970 was opened as "Schiffbaumuseum Rostock". A portion of the vessel served temporarily as a youth hostel. Today it is part of the Rostock Shipbuilding and Maritime Museum at the IGA-Park and offers extensive exhibits on shipbuilding history.
